Kindness in Science is an inclusive approach that fosters diversity, respect, wellbeing & openness leading to better science outcomes.

==

Who are we? ====

We are a diverse collective based in Aotearoa/New Zealand leading a culture shift in the science community that embeds kindness to achieve better science outcomes.

The Kindness in Science Collective was co-founded by Catherine Febria (@ecofebria), Stephanie Galla (@sgalla32), Kate Hannah (@Knhannah), Shaun Hendy (@hendysh), Dan Hikuroa (@DanHikuroa), Aleksandra Pawlik (@aleksandrana), Tammy Steeves (@testeeves) and Cilla Wehi (@CillaWehi).

What do we do? ===

Since the inaugural Kindness in Science workshop in December 2017 the initiative has been growing – largely behind the scenes – but you can search #KindnessInScience on social media to see how we, and others, are embedding kindness in science.
